Remote-RED is not just for smart homes. As a partner you give your own Node-RED based projects a ready-made app with remote access and push notifications, without writing a single line of app code. Or you set up remote access for your customers without them having to pay the in-app purchases of the Remote-RED app. Everything is billed centrally through your partner account, at tiered prices.

Your own IoT projects built on Node-RED
You control equipment, machines or devices with Node-RED and want to ship an app with your project? With Remote-RED it gets remote access to the dashboard, push notifications with interactive replies, and geofencing. No app development, no server infrastructure of your own, no port forwarding at the operator's site.
Installers of smart homes & control systems
You build smart home installations or smaller industrial control systems for your customers? Through your partner account, your customers get the Remote-RED app fully unlocked. They never see in-app purchases and pay us nothing. You pay per instance, at tiered prices, considerably cheaper than individual consumer subscriptions.
Manufacturers & platforms
Want all of this under your own brand? On request you get a custom app with your name and your design in the stores, and if needed a dedicated server that serves only your customers.
One hash instead of a thousand subscriptions
The principle is simple: when you register, you receive a CustomerHash and a CustomerSecret. You enter both in the Node-RED config node or on the command line whenever you set up an instance for a customer or project.
Instances belong to your account
Every instance created this way is tied to your partner account. In your customers' apps, all features you booked are automatically unlocked.
End customers pay nothing
Your customers simply install the Remote-RED app from the store, scan the QR code and get going. In-app purchases are never even offered to them.
Only real usage counts
You are only billed for instances that were actually connected to an app. Instances that were created but never connected cost nothing.
Setup via CLI. In the Node-RED config node you simply enter the same values in the form.
Three features, booked individually
You only book what your projects need. Each feature is billed per instance, with tiered prices: the more instances, the cheaper each one gets.

All prices are net yearly prices per instance plus VAT. With monthly billing, 1/12 of the yearly price is charged. You can switch features on and off at any time; what counts is the state at invoicing time.
Everything in the partner portal, no email ping-pong
The partner portal is fully self-service. You sign in via magic link, no password needed.
Prices & quota
You can see your tiered prices in the portal at any time and raise your instance quota yourself as your projects grow.
Switch features
You enable or disable remote access, push notifications and geofencing yourself. Changes take effect immediately in your customers' apps.
Billing based on usage
Billing is retrospective, based on your actual instance count, monthly or yearly as you prefer. Payment is handled conveniently via credit card or SEPA direct debit through Stripe.
Proper invoices
Every invoice arrives as an e-invoice in ZUGFeRD format by email and is also available for download in the portal.
When standard isn't enough
Dedicated server
Your instances run on a dedicated server that works exclusively for your partner account. Interesting for larger volumes or specific requirements regarding location and isolation.
Custom app
Your own app with your name, your icon and your design in the App Store and Play Store, technically based on Remote-RED.
Individual terms
For special cases such as one instance with a large number of users, or unusual volumes, we agree on individual pricing.
Dedicated server and custom app are additional services with their own pricing. Just get in touch.
How to become a partner
Register
Register with your company details in the partner portal and pick the features you need. After confirming your email address, your account is active immediately, with a starter quota of instances.
Enter your CustomerHash
Enter your CustomerHash and CustomerSecret in the Node-RED config node or via the CLI. Every new instance now runs through your account.
Add a payment method
Add a credit card or SEPA mandate in the portal. Billing then runs automatically based on actual usage.
